3550 Queuing Details

“It should be noted that when the queue limits are modified, the queue temporarily is shut down during the hardware reconfiguration, and the switch may drop newly arrived packets destined to the queue.”
I believe there is a global command to change this behavior, but I can’t seem to recall it. Can someone jog my memory.
