For 1st question, you can apply any dynamic protocol, as your network is too short .
But when you configure any router make sure that, (1) you give correct serial port address. (2) give clock to scl line. (3) every router needs all PCs address which are connected to that router only and obviously they should share same network. Dont bother about other PCs address which are not directly connected.
