A fast growing company needs a Senior J2EE Developer
Responsibilities: =================
1- Responsible for Java/J2EE/EE5 application development supporting business objectives while providing mid-level expertise in software development life cycle phases from concept and design to testing.
2- Analyzes, designs and builds Web/internet applications, including, modeling techniques, and object-oriented design,
3- Work on new and existing applications.
4- Performs hands-on coding and assists in architecting web content solutions.
5- Serve as liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas.
Qualifications: =================
1- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline is required or equivalent work experience and technical training.
2- 5 or more years of Java experience in software development, in a team environment, maintenance and delivery with application server experience (e.g. Web Logic, 10g Applications Server; Apache; J2EE Application Server)
3- Dealing with open source ready made frameworks.
4- Working with Java web applications using STRUTS, JSF with any extension frameworks, EJB or Hibernate or IBatis and AJAX.
5- Good knowledge in Design Patterns.
6- Experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languages, e.g. JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, EJBs, SQL, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, HTML, Struts, CVS
7- Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must.
8- Ability to document development including database design, application design and ongoing documentation of changes and modifications.
9- Rapid applications development or extreme programming is highly desirable.
