Job Description : The person whose job it is to analyze the operation and data of the business to develop a business solution, he is responsible for identifying the business needs of the clients and stakeholders to help determine solutions to business problems. They typically have a high degree of industry experience and perform a liaison function to software developers or other service providers
Qualification:
Educational:
1. B.Sc. computer science and information system ( preferred major IS) or B..SC Engineering
2. 1 -3 Year experience in analysis and documenting
Technical:
1. Good background in information system design & IT capabilities
2. Excellent knowledge with UML 1.4 or later 2
3. Excellent writing Use Cases skills is a must
Personal:
1. Excellent communication skills
2. Very good English & Arabic Spoken & written
3. Have the ability to apply logical analytical thought to business issues
4. Have logical approach to problem solving
5. Ability to learn quickly
6. High Observation skills
7. Provides expertise in the modeling/mapping of business processes, conduct as-is/to-be business processes
Advantage:
1. knowledge with LMS business and competitive applications is a plus
2. Under standing of the unified process is a plus
Job Main Responsibilities:
· Examine a business activity to help decide whether new IT solutions will improve productivity.
· Discuss existing business models and the flows of data in the business with those involved.
· Using a variety of technical and presentation tools, analysts draw up and cost specifications for possible improvements and produce outline designs of new IT systems for others to develop and build.
· Specify the data, files and logical operations the system will perform as well as the way data will be viewed by the user.
· Additionally, they may be involved in overseeing project implementation..
· Performs a liaison function between the business side of an enterprise and the information technology department or external service providers.
· The business analyst understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
