Job Description : Installing and administrating Windows Servers (2000, 2003). § Installing and administrating Web Servers (Apache, IIS). § Installing and administrating Database Servers (MYSQL, MS-SQL). § Implementing, and administrating computer networks. § Installing, administrating Internet access using Microsoft ISA server. § Installing and Managing e-mail servers. § Installing and managing web-streaming servers. § Installing, administrating Microsoft Windows Share Point. 2. § Identify hardware, software and user issues. § Interacts with programmers, business users and software vendors to troubleshoot installation and implementation issues. § Provide technical support and maintenance of installed applications software and handle multiple technical issues in an organized and competent manner § Work from a helpdesk, providing resolution via phone and/or remote control software. § Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources. § Work and communicate with external and internal staff at all levels. § May deliver sessions and seminars regarding the IS team members’ development
